[영어 동화] The Little Star's Bright Journey (작은 별의 빛나는 여행)

 

Once upon a time, in a beautiful night sky, there lived a little star named Twinkle. Twinkle was smaller than the other stars and often felt lonely. She dreamt of being as bright and big as them. One night, Twinkle saw a little girl named Lily looking up at the sky, her eyes full of wonder.

 

Lily was sad because she had lost her way home. Twinkle felt a spark of hope and decided to help. “I may be small, but I can shine bright!” Twinkle thought. She focused all her energy and began to glow.

 

As she twinkled, her light caught Lily's attention. "Wow! A shooting star!" Lily exclaimed with joy.

 

She followed Twinkle’s light through the dark forest, feeling brave and guided by her shining friend. Along the way, they encountered a timid rabbit who had lost his way and a wise old owl who needed help finding his missing feathers. Twinkle shone for them, too, lighting the path and bringing joy to each creature they met. With each new friend, Twinkle grew a little brighter and a little bigger, realizing that helping others made her shine even brighter than before.

 

Finally, Twinkle led Lily back home safely. As Lily reached her house, she looked up at the sky and shouted, “Thank you, little star!” Twinkle felt a warm glow in her heart. She understood that it didn't matter how small she was; her kindness could light up the darkest nights. From that day on, Twinkle continued to shine brightly in the sky, helping lost dreams find their way home, reminding every child to believe in their own light, no matter how small.
